The Inter-American Entrepreneurial Federation (FIE) is a non-profit continental organization integrated by micro, small, and medium enterprises that have been formed to help strengthening production and commercialization nets development, which promote added value exportations framed into “good entrepreneurial practices”, as well as to influence political and economic reforms that help countries to insert in the globalization, taking advantage of the opportunities this challenge represents.
HISTORY
The Inter-American Entrepreneurial Federation (FIE) was thought by a group of entrepreneurs, who, gathered in Guayaquil (Ecuador), decided to create an association that could serve as a commercial opportunities leader entity for micro, medium, and small enterprises. Therefore, on August 15th, 2002, during a General Assembly, the FIE is given birth for the whole America as a non-profit private organization. On June 10th, 2004, it was officially registered by the Regional Sub secretary of Ecuador's Ministry of External Commerce, Industrialization, Fishing, and Competitiveness (MICIP).
